Sea Creature Scavenger Hunt was completed as part of Seattle Art Interruptions 2017. This temporary installation aimed to activate the Delridge Greenway neighborhood by inviting viewers to pay attention to their surroundings in order to search for magical "hidden" organisms while traveling through the area. A large wheat pasted mural alerted passersby of the scavenger hunt, and six different sea creatures were installed within 1/4 mile of the mural using wheat paste, vinyl stickers and fabricated metal plates (three are shown in image). The project was designed to be interactive, and to draw attention to the noteworthy disappearance of sea life within our planet's oceans.
