Hidden Jewels Guided Practices
The Hidden Jewels project is a mixed media resource for nervous system wellness. The art and recorded practices were created to promote a state of attentiveness that is calm, clear and connected to the world around us. This work is a collaboration with Oakland-based healer and coach Shannon Hart - Radiant Light Studios.
Hidden Jewels is inspired by the Tibetan word terma, which translates to “hidden treasure". A terma is an idea or practice that remains hidden until the right time for the practitioner or teacher. If you desire to navigate your world with increased clarity and connection, now might be the right time to engage with the Hidden Jewels practices.
The imagery and recorded practices are informed by teachings, both ancient and modern, on the way our bodies and brains connect as we navigate our physical environment, respond to stimuli, and process and understand the emotions and sensations being generated internally. The exercises are simple, time-tested, and designed to create both an immediate change in how we feel, as well as more subtle, long-lasting shifts when practiced repeatedly over time.
To use: find a quiet place, click on one of the practices, and focus your attention on the physical sensations you experience during and just after the exercise. Repeat often, and modify as much as you'd like. I hope the work brings beauty and wellness into your life.
